VSbulletin: Disruption to flights due to Air Traffic Control technical issue - 08 September 2026

Due to an ongoing technical issue affecting the NATS air traffic control system, some UK flight departures and arrivals may be subject to disruption and delays.

Temporary air traffic restrictions are currently in place while NATS engineers work to resolve the issue. Manchester Airport is operating as usual.

Virgin Atlantic are monitoring the situation closely and we will contact you if your customers travel plans are affected. 

If you have customers who are due to travel today, please check their flight status regularly here before they head to the airport. Virgin Atlantic will continue to update Partner Hub with the latest information here. .
