Premium design for all cabins

Delta Air Lines has unveiled a complete cabin redesign across its fleet, launching on a Boeing 757 later this autumn and on an Airbus A350 in early 2025.

The new design introduces a range of improvements that have been made to enhance the overall passenger experience, such as modernised seating, enhanced lighting and new decorative motifs. The redesign is the perfect timeless combination of utility and beauty, ensuring passengers’ ever-evolving expectations are met every time.

Sit back in style

It’s never been comfier to fly than now, thanks to the newly revamped Delta seats. Those travelling in Delta Comfort+ or Main Cabin will enjoy seats crafted from engineered leather and memory foam cushions, with Delta One customers being treated to soft, breathable wool fabric seats. Those flying Delta Premium Select or First Class have the joy of full memory foam seats covered with breathable engineered leather – now that’s comfort!

Say goodbye to jetlag with programmed lighting

The cabin’s lighting system has been reimagined with mood lighting that adjusts to each phase of the flight, helping passengers feel more relaxed and better adjusted to different time zones.

Upon boarding, the lighting is warm and inviting, making the cabin feel like a home away from home. Then, when it comes to meal times, the lighting switches to hues that’ll make passengers feel like they’re at a candlelit dinner. Lights will dim to encourage passengers to sleep, with no traces of blue light, only warm amber tones reminiscent of a sunset glow. Upon landing, lights will slowly brighten, replicating sunrise and daylight.

Warm welcomes are ahead

A major focus of the redesign is creating a more welcoming and soothing environment for passengers. Delta has opted for a softer, warmer colour palette with touches of its heritage colours to give the cabin a clean, elegant feel. The brand's signature elements, such as the Delta widget logo, appear subtly throughout the cabin at customer touchpoints, giving each space a distinct yet cohesive look.

New bulkhead motifs evolve Delta’s signature patterns: the Infinite Grid welcomes customers, symbolising Delta’s unmatched global connections, while the Celestial Sky evokes the wonder of flight. Branded cabin identifiers in Delta One and Delta Premium Select now appear on all widebody aircraft, with Celestial Sky under-bin dividers added where full cabin dividers aren’t available.

Delta’s goal is to update the entire fleet with this new cabin design, ensuring a consistent experience regardless of the aircraft. Whether flying domestically or internationally, passengers will enjoy a fresh, elevated atmosphere, designed to reflect Delta’s commitment to customer satisfaction as the airline approaches its centennial anniversary.

There’s a new premium lounge at LAX

Delta is showing the world exactly how a premium airport lounge should be. The new Delta One Lounge at LAX is directly connected to the Delta One check-in, ensuring its visitors experience a completely private group experience.

Bask in the hues of Southern California

Its décor is inspired by the combination of natural and manmade beauty that saturates Los Angeles, using leather and walnut accents and touches of Verde Emerald quartzite throughout. The feature lighting pays homage to the glamour of old Hollywood and the grand ceilings nod to the city’s renowned architectural history.

Pure artistry from top to bottom

The luxurious feel doesn’t stop there – Delta’s luxury brand partner, Missoni, has added accents throughout the landscaped terrace and library lounge area, using pillows, vases and coffee table books. Artwork from talented global artists is displayed across the lounge, hinting at the vast reach of the West Coast hub.

A dining experience they won’t forget

Delta One Lounge visitors will enjoy a service-led dining experience from every seat. The food choices fall nothing short of delicious, from crispy duck tacos to pan-roasted salmon and a year-round sushi bar – travellers are sure to find a favourite. The menu is rotated regularly, so returning guests will always have something new to try.

For those preferring to sip instead of nibble, the signature cocktails will have them travelling the world through their tastebuds through destination-themed beverages.

Who said airports can’t be relaxing?

The Delta One Lounge is home to an encompassing wellness room. There travellers will find eight private relaxation pods equipped with full-body massage chairs and zero-gravity chairs. Lighting in the wellness room is programmed to match the body’s circadian rhythm, making time zone changes easier to climatise to.
Wellness-themed drinks are available in this room, as well as refreshing towels and product samples from Grown Alchemist.
